St. Thomas - Sailing on the Silent Lady, Snorkeling, and Lunch at the Beach!

Our guides for this excursion were the best we had all trip. They were so fun! Brian (from Oklahoma!) met us and took us to our pirate ship, the Silent Lady. It started raining right as we were boarding the ship, but thankfully it didn’t stick around. The ride out to the cove was rocky, to say the least! Thankfully, no one got sick! Yay!

And now, for our cinematography skills. Watch out, Spielberg, you've got nothing on us!

The snorkeling wasn’t the best just because the water wasn’t all that clear. We still had a really great time, though! Once we were through, we headed out to the beach for some lunch. We had ribs, chicken, macaroni salad, green salad and rolls. It was good! On the boat they had unlimited water, beer, soda, and painkillers (a rum concoction) too. This was really an awesome excursion all around! Oh, we also got free matching tattoos!!

When we got back from the excursion, we had a little bit of time to shop around St. Thomas. Even though the weather turned out great while we were on the water, when we got back it down poured! We stopped for some iced coffee at Bad Ass Coffee where they use frozen coffee cubes instead of ice cubes, so your drink doesn’t get watered down as it melts. Genius idea! Starbucks, are you reading this? Who am I kidding, of course you are! ;)

Can you see the brown ice?
Monday was the first formal night of the cruise, so we had to get all gussied up! I’m so thankful that Darin let me borrow some of her dresses to take with me! Here are some pictures from night one on the boat!
