Our First Sea Day
Day 4 was a day at sea. This day actually came welcome because we had been on the go for quite a few days now. After sleeping in, we headed up to the buffet for some breakfast! We ran into the rest of the gang there and enjoyed our meal with them. It’s funny how we were on the same schedule unintentionally!
After breakfast, we headed to the gym with Trent and Anna…and the rest of the passengers of the Serenade of the Sea. The place was packed! I did a few miles on the elliptical while enjoying my view of the ocean. I really couldn’t complain. After that, I decided to run a mile or two outside on the jogging track. Well, that lasted for half a mile (three laps) because so many people were walking, side by side, on the track. I gave up and went back to the gym to finish a few more miles on the treadmill with the same great view!
The weather this day was great! No rain at all. Chris and I found a few lounge chairs in a semi-unpopulated area where we read all day. I was reading The Hunger Games while Chris read Inside Delta Force.
After our non-negotiable afternoon nap, we got ready for dinner! I think we went to a show this night too, but there aren’t any pictures of that!

After dinner we decided to head up to play a round of mini-golf! Chris considered me such a threat that he pulled a Tonya Harding and clubbed my ankle connector! And yes, that’s the scientific term. At least Darin knows what I’m talking about. Once I recovered we were able to start our game. We had a great time! I think either Steve or Debbie won. It was hard to keep track.
