After the Ceremony

After we kissed our parents goodbye, we headed to American Canyon to check into our hotel. We are staying at the Gaia Hotel and Spa, which was just bought by DoubleTree. The hotel is just right for the price. We haven't had any issues yet, and it is much cheaper than staying in Napa. Whenever we get a chance to come back, we definitely want to try and stay in Downtown Napa because we had a great time down there today!

Here is Chris getting ready to call his Grandparents in Arizona!

Chris has deemed this TV the perfect size for our bedroom.
We ate dinner at a local Mexican restaurant that we both enjoyed! We then decided to go to the movies, but after driving the familiar route (we took this route on our way to the ferry terminal to get our rings!), we remembered how, ahem, ghetto the area is. We quickly turned around and headed back to the hotel. We had to stop off and get some aloe because Chris' dome-ski got burnt yesterday during the ceremony. My shoulders got a little red too! Along with the aloe we got some sunscreen  so we could better prepare for today.

Then, look what we found! Remember this? This is the very same Arby’s that we ate after we got our rings. How sentimental!

Memory Lane
Don’t worry, we didn’t eat there. We had something much better waiting for us!

Leftover wedding cake in wine glasses, of course! It was actually quite a feat to get those forks, sheesh! We sufficiently stuffed our bellies with the sweet stuff and hunkered down for a Netflix on our laptop. We watched Easy A and thought it was pretty good! We laughed quite a bit, so that's good! To be honest, I missed the last 30 minutes of it because it's impossible for me to stay awake during movies.
